Jeena, Tyler, and Abigail hanging out at Grandma and Grandpa's.
We had a fun weekend in Bountiful. Ben and Allison came out from Wisconsin with their family. Stephanie and Steve and the kids also came out from Nevada so it was fun to see everyone. We went to the temple, to the Kangaroo Zoo (bump and jump playhouse), Cafe Rio (of course), and hung out. It was great weekend.
Doesn't he look adorable? That's what I thought pre ski lesson. What a perfect way to bond with my 3 year old, I thought. It was a warm sunny day at Powderhorn and I thought I had the skills to teach a 3 year old to ski. How hard could it be? I realize now that is why the first time ski lesson is SO expensive. It is worth every dollar. To make a short day on the slopes shorter, I will sum it up with this: We were both frustrated. My back and abs were killing from bending over and picking him up every 3 seconds. I was sweating from the exertion. My patience was shattered in 1 1/2 hours. Then he had to pee! Anyway, leave the beginning lessons to the professionals. I just hope I haven't ruined the sport for him and that he will try again. But he did look super cute.
